Steve Heffernan, Bass Guitarist, Birmingham, England, Age 41
Steve started playing bass guitar in his father's Irish band Called Shannon Aires at the tender age of 14.
Throughout his musical career, Steve has played and toured with numerous country and Irish bands, one of those bands was Caroline and the Country Blues, the band was run by Caroline's father and was Caroline's first real band!!! Steve performed bass guitar with the country blues for Twelve Years, staying with the band two years after Caroline left to join her husband. Steve joined the salt Creek band performing with Caroline once again; this has taken him to levels he never imagined giving him the chance to play in Europe and USA. Steve also enjoys singing this is an added value to the Salt Creek Band, he sings Harmonies to enhance the sound of the band.
In his spare time he has be known to write a song or two!
He is the rogue of the band, always laughing and joking, he is a hit with the ladies watch out girls…
Throughout Steve's teenage years and musical Career, he has grown up with Pat and Caroline, this has resulted in a very unique friendship, and this friendship will take Caroline McHugh and Salt Creek Band onwards and upwards.Steve's heart is with American Country music
